This album of duets wasn't Linda Ronstadt's idea. It was at the behest of the record label, as these things often are. But the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee insisted on handpicking the songs and trawled back through collaborations dating back to the mid-1970s. Songs include the exquisite I Will Never Marry, with Dolly Parton, and I Can't Help It, with Emmylou Harris. The 80s get a nod too with Don't Know Much and All My Life, both with Aaron Neville.
