Kanye West's latest album is something special. In stark contrast to his last album (the minimalist, Auto-Tuned 808s & Heartbreak), My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is bold, menacing and in your face. In true Kanye style it's pumped with ego and adheres to no man's rule - dishing up old-school, sample-based hip-hop, melodic R&B ballads, stadium rock and gentle instrumental interludes in one fell swoop. Highlights include Dark Fantasy, Power and Monster. Is Mr West crazy? Yes! Dumb? No!
