On her debut album, gutsy but dainty Wellington singer-songwriter Janina explores her life lessons through her three loves - classical music, rock 'n' roll and clever writing.
This is the album she has been building towards for a decade, and rowdy rock tracks like Vallance Boy and Cello Vortex do reference 90s hits. She excels in the peppery solos and her dreamy soprano hits the spot in the opener, Taming Her Dreaming, and against plucked strings and warm clarinet in That's What They Told You.
