Featuring our own pop princess Kimbra on the stunning Something That I Used to Know, this is the third album by Belgian-born Australian one-man band and oddball producer Gotye (real name Wally De Backer).
In fact, it's that song that's the best here, as it intensifies with a delightful pop whimsy and rousing vocal performances from both. But the many magical, and stylistically diverse, moments are tempered by some uncomfortable listening, like the lightweight banging retro soul of I Feel Better and the gallivanting nonsense of Eyes Wide Open.
