Stars: 4/5
Elbow's last album, The Seldom Seen Kid, earned them a truckload of awards, including the 2008 Mercury Prize, and elevated the indie stalwarts to dizzying heights.
It's good to hear then, on their fifth album, that the alt-rockers haven't been tainted by the hoopla and gone off in search of a new creative vision.
Rather, the Manchester-based lads stick to what they do best - intimate yet expansive heart-tugging tunes that pay great attention to detail.
Album Review: Elbow build a rocket boys!
