Country music stalwart Buddy Miller gathered together a group of renowned musical mates, including singer Emmylou Harris, to come up with this spellbinding and diverse country record. There are moments of thigh-slapping recklessness on No Good Lover, tender tranquillity on Return To Me, and husky hollering on Dang Me. Along the way it features the most delightfully dexterous country playing around (check out the dour discord of Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie) and some of the sweetest (and saddest) slide guitaring to boot.
