Verdict: Sans Killers, he sounds a bit lonely
While this solo debut from Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers is flamboyant and has that colossal I-could-totally-fill-a-stadium-feel, it doesn't quite have the chart-topping emotional punch of his band's hit albums.
He just sounds a bit lonely. But he still has the liquid-smooth croon that turns so many weak at the knees, Queen-like choruses, and stirring tracks - Only the Young could be a match for Human. With the Killers on hiatus this is the best substitute fans will get in a while.
