The 2011 debut from Sydney folk-rockers Boy and Bear deservedly earned them five Aria awards. But it also set the bar at an unattainable high for their follow-up, Harlequin Dream, which lacks the rawness and energy of the first.
There are, however, some gems here - namely the opener Southern Sun, which is a guitar-driven, Tom Petty-esque anthem which should be blasted loud.
End Of The Line is a catchy-as-hell country tinged tune, which warrants equal volume.
