Ubisoft has unveiled a new developer's diary for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag that looks at naval navigation and combat, while also revealing the massive scope of their upcoming open-world adventure.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U on October 31 - the game is also being developed for Xbox One and PS4.
