Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has checked into a rehab facility according to new reports.
The singer, who has previously dealt with drug abuse, was admitted to a rehabilitation centre in Pasadena, California for substance abuse TMZ.com reported today.
Tyler's representatives had no comment.
In September 2006, Tyler revealed that he had been diagnosed with hepatitis C three years earlier and had undergone 11 months of treatment.
In the 70s Tyler and band mate Joe Perry were nicknamed the 'Toxic Twins' due to their rampant use of drugs & alcohol both on and off stage.
The addictions took a toll on their record sales but the pair managed to clean themselves up and by the late 80's had regained much of their previous popularity, with albums Permanent Vacation and Pump.
