Adele was the big winner at last night's (10.12.15) BBC Music Awards.
The 'Hello' hitmaker made her triumphant return to music this year and was honoured with two gongs for British Artist of the Year and BBC Live Performance of the Year for her show 'Adele At The BBC, A BBC One Special'.
However, she was unable to make the ceremony at Birmingham's Genting Arena and said in a video message: "Sorry I'm not there, I'm absolutely gutted but thanks so much for my award. Thank you so, so much. I hope you're all having a wonderful night."
Another winner on the night was Hozier, whose track 'Take Me To Church' was crowned Song Of The Year by the public.
Speaking after his win, he told BANG Showbiz: "It's great [to win]. I was watching the list of songs and there was 'Uptown Funk' so really, I didn't expect to become the winner of this award. I'm absolutely thrilled.
