"I am a school music teacher from Newfoundland, Canada and am broke from travelling around to cancelled concerts. My students are going to be so disappointed. I know it's my own choice to travel to see you but this is unbelievable!
"I still haven't seen you in concert and I estimate I have forked out almost $10,000 now. Help a girl out! All I want is five minutes of your time and a cup of tea!"
Lori told The Sun that she doesn't blame Adele, as the singer has to protect her voice, but she can't believe her misfortune.
She said: "I just cannot believe all three concerts I have booked to see have been cancelled. I really would love to see her one day. Adele is a beautiful singer and a great lady. I love the fact she has a bit of a potty mouth and talks about her son all the time. She seems like a pretty great person and her music is fabulous.
"I joked that if she gave me five minutes and a cup of tea I would be more than happy. I feel horrible for her. It has to be hard for her too. I just happened to pick three shows she cancelled."
The first time the music teacher was due to see her was in Houston, Texas, when she lost $1000 taking unpaid leave and flew to the southern state where her sister lives for the concert.
Five years later, she tried again, with the concert one part of a ten-day family holiday, to Phoenix, Arizona, but she cancelled it again.
Finally, Lori flew to the UK for the concert, and "couldn't believe it" when she hit the hat-trick of cancellations.
Her friends on Facebook have been supportive, with one saying: "So sad this happened, I know how much excitement you had that you were finally going to see her in concert! Hopefully one day you will get to see her, I know it's one of your dreams!"
Though another was a little more downbeat, saying: "She announced that she will most likely never tour again...she doesn't like it and it's not something she cares to do again..it's unfortunate but it's her job and she just quit."
And a couple creative friends turned her songs into jokes about the situation, with one writing "Hello from the other side... I must have cancelled a 1000 times" and another adding: "Hello, it's me. I've been traveling around the world in hopes that I could see. You performing, for all your fans. But still no sight of you and now I'm down about 10 grand."
When Adele cancelled the last shows, she explained in a post shared on social media: "I've struggled vocally on both nights. I had to push a lot harder than I normally do. I'm already maxed out on steroids and aids for my voice."
