Adele slams reports she's dating a married man

British singing phenom Adele has broken her silence and set the record straight about her relationship with a new squeeze.

The Daily Mail boomed earlier this week that the star's 36-year-old charity entrepreneur boyfriend, Simon Konecki, was still a married man.

Oh, the scandal!

Konecki wed fashion stylist Clary Fisher in 2004 and the pair had a daughter, now five. The couple separated in 2010, sources told the Mail.

The 21 singer has since taken to her blog to trash reports her man is still hitched.

"This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon," she wrote.

"Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years.

She added: "Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx."

The Someone Like You singer, who is recovering after throat surgery, is set to make her live comeback at the Grammys and the BRIT Awards next month.

Adele and her beau went public with their romance after they were spotted packing on the PDA during a holiday in Florida earlier this month.

"Adele was taking pictures of him and the scenery ... they were having fun and were very comfortable with one another," reported a source, who spotted the pair aboard an airboat in Everglades National Park.

"He watched her every move, especially when she was on the dock and on the boat. He wanted to make sure she didn't fall into the water!" the source added.

"They were lovey dovey with one another [and] very into each other."

The singer dished to Billboard magazine last month that after an album-inspiring heartbreak, she's ready for love.

"It's been the most erratic year. It's been f***ing brilliant and exciting and emotional," she said. "Professionally, it's been a year that will define my life forever."

But "not having someone to share all this with made me miserable at times, to be honest," she told the mag.

"I wanted nothing more than to be in love and be loved back. That was until I remembered I was sharing it with millions and millions and millions of people.

"I haven't been ready to be in love again since summer 2009 ... until now. And I hadn't met anyone along the way who's changed that."

Until now. How romantic!
