Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are expecting their first child together.

The Maroon 5 frontman and his 26-year-old model wife are said to be "over the moon" with the news they will welcome a new addition to their family into the world later this year.

According to Us Weekly magazine, the Victoria's Secret Angel is around three or four months along in her pregnancy.

The couple haven't yet officially announced the news, but "multiple sources" confirmed it to the publication.

Adam, 36, has previously spoken of his desire to have a big family.

The Voice coach joked just a month after he and Behati married in July 2014: "We're definitely going to do it.

"I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible."

And the She Will Be Loved hitmaker - who has been in a relationship with Behati for nearly four years - recently joked again of how he wants to have loads of kids because he always enjoys spending time with them on the set of The Voice.

He said: "[I want] like, 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much though. I love seeing kids on the set too.

"Yeah, we're gonna do it at some point in the not-so-distant-slash-undisclosed-slash-I-really-have-no-idea-big-question-mark future."
