Comedic actor Terry Crews has revealed he checked into rehab to deal with his porn addiction.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star made the shocking admission in a video series, called Dirty Little Secret, posted on Facebook, revealing that he had a problem with pornography for years.
He said he finally became free from his obsession six to seven years ago when his wife Rebecca King threatened to leave.
"It really, really messed up my life in a lot of ways and I didn't tell anybody," Crews said.
"And that allowed it to grow. And it got bad ... It affected everything. I didn't tell my wife, didn't tell my friends, nobody knew, but the internet allowed that secret to just stay and grow.
"My wife was literally like, 'I don't know you anymore, I'm out of here'. And that changed me. I had to change. I realised this thing is a major, major problem. I literally had to go to rehab for it ... what I found was that by not telling people, it becomes more powerful."
Crews encouraged those suffering with a similar addiction to speak to him about the problem to make them realise they need help.
"It's become my battle to help other people who are going through the same thing."
Crews also admitted one of the reasons behind his addiction was his sense of entitlement.
"I had the biggest sense of entitlement ever, I felt the world owed me something. I felt like my wife owed me sex. I felt like everybody owed me ... it's extremely dangerous."
He said all men with the problem must take responsibility for their actions and admit they need to change.
"I didn't get help to get my wife back. I got help because I needed it."
The 47-year-old actor married Rebecca in 1990. They have four children together and Crews is also stepfather to Rebecca's daughter Naomi from a previous relationship.
