It may have broken world records, but The Bachelor Australia's four-minute smooch last night turned out to be a big turn-off for fans.
In an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for longest on-screen kiss, Bachelor Sam Wood and his date Nina Rolleston locked lips on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The pair and their producers hoped to beat the record set on the US version of the show, which they did, finally tearing themselves apart after 4m10sec of tongue action.
Every last second of the kiss was shown on-screen, but unfortunately the record-breaking pash didn't make for great television and viewers were left unimpressed by the spectacle.
Even the man timing it for the Guinness World Records remarked that it was hard to watch and fans of the show promptly took to Twitter to express their boredom and disgust.
