To be clear, The Classic isn't laughing at Telethon with their 24-hour Laugh-a-thon gig next week; they're laughing with them.
The live event will raise funds for the Telethon cause, supporting the children's charity Kids Can.
Opening at 6pm on Saturday, August 8, the event will begin with a two-hour warm-up show, before a three-hour, all-star special.
A graveyard shift will put people's humour to the test between 2am and 7am, before a breakfast show, complete with a breakfast barbecue.
Sunday afternoon will feature a family-friendly children's comedy show, before the day is rounded out by The Last Laughs.
The entire proceeds of the day will go to Kids Can, and director Scott Blanks (pictured) hopes to raise $20,000 for the cause.
