Pull on your wet rubber, or simply go along naked, because the boys from Head Like A Hole are hitting the road for a string of shows.
The Wellington band, who raged around rock 'n' roll stages in various states of undress throughout the 90s, announced last year
that they would be reuniting for Homegrown in Wellington on March 14. However, before that they play the Cabana in Napier, March
5; the Montecristo Room in Auckland, March 6; and Mighty Mighty in Wellington on March 13.
Speaking of 13, that's the name of the band's debut album from 1993 and it's one to get your hands on.
Whether they get their gears off like they used to in their early days is doubtful, but they will be sure to crank out hits including everything from Fish Across Face and Life's A Joke, to later classics like Hot Sexy Lusty and Comfortably Shagged.
Tickets go on sale from Ticketmaster, Real Groovy, and Napier's CD & DVD Store, on February 16.
Meanwhile, New Orleans one-man-band Mr Quintron and sidekick Miss Pussycat play three shows in March, including at Auckland's Cassette #9 on March 12. Miss Pussycat will open each show with her unique puppet show.
