Connor Nestor and Vince Wynn will take over the 95bFM Breakfast Show from this Monday.
Previous host Matt Heath hosted his last show this morning, after resigning earlier this week to move to the Drive show on Radio Hauraki.
Connor (20) has until now been Heath's producer-slash-co-host, and Wynn (19) filled a similar position on the Mike Havoc Breakfast Show.
The move appears to combat criticism that bFM, a student radio station based at Auckland University, has an average on-air age well above where it should be.
"We have been working on the talent across the station for the last two years, and we have a huge amount of young enthusiastic broadcasters and journalists here, " says 95bFM station manager Manu Taylor.
"The recent changes meant we have more room for them to grow and shine."
Previous Breakfast hosts have included Wallace Chapman, Graeme Hill and Marcus Lush.
Nestor and Wynn will begin their tenure at 6am this Monday.
