As Shortland Street turns 25, New Zealand on Screen opens the archives to bring us 25 years of trivia.
Stephanie Tauevihi spent eight years on the Street, joining the cast in 1997 to play Donna Heka. During that time, her character dealt with her fair share of challenges, most of them revolving around her relationship with paramedic Rangi Heremaia (Blair Strang).
Here she recalls her audition for the role, and overcoming intimacy issues to successfully "ravage" her soon-to-be love interest.
