The ladies of Sex and the City will find some unlikely company next month, as they are paired with The Young Ones and the boys of South Park when Comedy Central launches.
New Zealand will be the first country in the Southern Hemisphere to screen the 24-hour comedy channel - via Sky TV - when it launches on April 1.
The launch will see the acclaimed satirical news series The Colbert Report debut in New Zealand, alongside classic comedy favourites like Seinfeld, Frasier and Harry Enfield & Chums.
Programming will incorporate a variety of American and British series in a bid to appeal to our particular sense of humour.
Top-rating British comedy Katy Brand's Big Ass Show will also join the line-up - along with more dubious offerings like Badly Dubbed Porn and Das Crazy Sex Show.
Comedy Central will premiere on the Sky Digital Network next month on Channel 010.
