One Direction member Liam Payne has made a public apology after a video was released that appeared to show fellow band members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson smoking cannabis.
In the post, Payne apologised for things going a "little sideways," but said they were bound to "fall short" sometimes.
The 20 year-old's comments are the first time anyone from the band has spoken about the video that was released by The Daily Mail last week.
He said all of the boys had "a lot of growing up to do," but said they were "only in their 20s" and would do "stupid things at this age."
I love my boys and maybe things have gone a little sideways I apologise for that.We are only in our 20's we all do stupid things at this age
