Wales Online published a photograph of the receipt and asked: "Is this one of the biggest bar tabs ever racked up in a Cardiff bar?"
Urban was on a night out with film investor Ali Pour, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor Nick Moran and other friends.
According to Jackson, the group drank the bar dry of their top-end liquors, including a $1655 bottle of Hennessy cognac, Ace of Spades champagne, Dom Perignon and Crystal Head vodka.
He told Wales Online that Urban and his friends were giving out glasses of champagne to people who approached their table.
"They were in a private corner booth, which is hidden away but right in the middle of the action. They had a lot of privacy, with security looking after the table.
"We ran out of every single high-end drink you can imagine. Specialist bottles are very difficult to get because they don't stock many in the country. So today I'm requesting replacement bottles.
"They were all very down-to-earth guys with a great sense of humour. They enjoyed banter, especially rugby banter, and they were great fun.
"They danced in the corner in their private area. People in the club saw who they were but because Karl wasn't in his Star Trek outfit people didn't know who he was probably.
"They had a fantastic time and Karl even walked back to Park Plaza with no security."
The group gave a generous tip of $950, the Wales Online reported
Mr Jackson said celebrities have partied in the club in the past, but the highest bar tab before Saturday night's effort was $5678.
Urban will next be seen on the big screen in Star Trek Beyond, when he will reprise his role as Bones. It is set down for release in July 2016.
