Chicken drumettes marinated in Leggo’s Tomato Paste and kecap manis, creating a sticky and delicious finger food treat!
Ingredients
¼ cup | Leggo's tomato paste (Main) |
¼ cup | Kecap manis |
1 Tbsp | Brown sugar |
¼ tsp | Chilli powder |
1 ½ Tbsp | Sesame seeds |
1 kg | Chicken drumettes |
2 to serve | Lime wedges |
1 to garnish | Spring onion |
Directions
1. Combine Leggo’s Tomato Paste, kecap manis, sugar, chilli powder and sesame seeds in a large bowl.
2. Add chicken and toss to coat well.
3. Place chicken drumettes on a baking paper lined tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes, turning chicken half way through cooking. Serve with a squeeze of lime juice, garnished with spring onions.
TIP:Soy sauce can be used as an alternative to kecap manis. As soy sauce is a little stronger, reduce to 2 tablespoons.
