1 to brush | Extra virgin olive oil |
1 | French bread (Main) |
1 | Garlic clove |
1 | Tomato, firm (Main) |
1 to taste | Salt and pepper |
1 to serve | Ham, Spanish (Main) |
1 to serve | Basil leaves |
Directions
- Brush slices of french bread with extra virgin olive oil and bake in a hot oven until lightly coloured.
- Rub toasts with a cut garlic clove.
- Slice a firm tomato in half and grate the flesh from it (discard the skin). Spoon tomato on to toasts.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and pepper and top with a small slice of Spanish ham and a basil leaf.
