Ingredients
1 stalk | Lemongrass, roughly chopped |
1 cup | Lemon balm leaves, tightly packed (give them a bit of a squezze to open up the oil glands) (Main) |
3 | Kaffir lime leaves, roughly chopped |
¼ cup | Peppermint leaves, roughly chopped |
1 cup | Water |
1 | Lemon, juice of |
Directions
- Bring water to the boil, add all your leaves, bring back to the boil then turn off the heat. Let the tea steep for at least 15 minutes, the longer the better.
- Add the lemon juice and sugar, honey or stevia leaves or powder to sweeten to your preferred taste.
- Let it cool down. Strain the liquid while giving the greens a good squeeze to extract all the goodness.
- Serve over ice or with sparkling water. You could also add some elderflower cordial or freshly squeezed orange juice
