A yummy one-pan meal for two. The chilli mussels are packed in a special chilli sauce that provides great flavour for the recipe.
Ingredients
100 g | Spaghetti, dried (Main) |
1 | Green pepper, small, julienned (Main) |
1 | Red pepper, small, julienned (Main) |
180 g | Mussels, use Sealord smoked chilli mussels packet (Main) |
4 Tbsp | Creme fraiche |
2 | Shallots, diced |
2 Tbsp | Parsley, chopped |
1 | Lemon, finely grated rind and juice of |
Directions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions. Add the julienned peppers during the last minute of cooking.
- Meanwhile, remove the mussels and their sauce from the packet. Halve the mussels lengthwise, if preferred.
- Drain the pasta reserving 2 Tbsp of the cooking liquid. Return the pasta and peppers to the saucepan.
- Carefully mix in the remaining ingredients, including salt and pepper to taste.
