Ingredients
| 12 | Fresh dates (Main) |
| ¾ cup | Ground almonds |
| 12 | Almonds |
| ½ cup | Icing sugar |
| 1 tsp | Orange, finely grated zest and juice |
| 1 ½ tsp | Orange blossom water |
| 150 g | Dark chocolate |
| ¼ cup | Cream |
Directions
- Remove the stones from the dates to create a space to fill. Put one almond into each date.
- Combine the ground almonds, icing sugar, zest, blossom water and juice to make a smooth paste. Put a small amount into each date.
- Melt the chocolate and cream together in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each date into the chocolate, spooning a little over then carefully remove and let cool before eating.
