Nuoc cham is a popular Vietnamese dipping sauce and has the balanced flavours of sweet, sour, salty and spicy.
Ingredients
¼ cup | Limes, freshly squeezed juice, or use lemon juice |
2 Tbsp | Sweet chilli sauce, or use 3 tbsp if required |
2 Tbsp | Fish sauce |
2 Tbsp | Water, or use 3 tbsp if required |
1 | Garlic clove, very finely chopped |
1 | Red chilli, or use 2 chillies if required, finely chopped |
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients together and mix until the sweet chilli sauce dissolves.
- Set aside for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavours to mix and mingle.
