Ingredients
1 Ltr | Water |
2 Tbsp | Miso paste, (yellow) (Main) |
½ Tbsp | Fish sauce |
1 sheet | Nori sheet, torn, or 1 cup seaweed pieces |
100 g | Soba noodles |
2 tsp | Butter |
½ tsp | Sesame oil |
12 | Scallops (Main) |
1 handful | Coriander, to garnish |
1 handful | Spring onion, to garnish |
Directions
- Whisk the miso into the water and bring to a simmer in a saucepan. Add the fish sauce. Add the nori and the noodles and let cook for 10 minutes.
- Heat a pan and when hot add the butter and sesame oil. Cook the scallops for 1 minute on each side.
- Ladle the miso into warm bowls. Add the noodles then the scallops, coriander and spring onions. Serve with spoons and chopsticks.
