Ingredients
500 g | Beef mince (Main) |
1 tsp | Fresh ginger, finely grated |
1 tsp | Crushed garlic |
1 | Small red onion, coarsely grated or very finely chopped |
1 | Green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped |
¾ cup | Coriander leaves, chopped |
¼ cup | Mint leaves, chopped |
¼ cup | Tomatoes, chopped |
1 Tbsp | Besan (chickpea flour) |
1 | Egg, lightly beaten |
1 tsp | Garam masala |
1 tsp | Coriander seeds, crushed |
1 dash | Oil, for pan-frying |
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients together except the oil for pan-frying. Divide the mixture into about 16 balls and, using wet hands, press each into a patty.
- Place enough oil in a large frying pan to just cover the base and heat over a medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve patties with your favourite chutney, salad leaves and grilled bread.
