Many of my friends bring little gifts when they come for a meal such as a posy of flowers from their garden or a little jar of pickles. So for me there’s a hint of the spirit of Christmas year round. Of course at Christmas giving is more of an occasion.
Ingredients
1 cup | Cashew nuts |
1 cup | Blanched almonds (Main) |
1 cup | Brazil nuts (Main) |
2 tsp | Chilli powder (Main) |
½ tsp | Ground coriander |
½ tsp | Cumin |
¼ tsp | Salt |
1 pinch | Cayenne pepper |
Directions
- Place the nuts in a large microwave-proof dish. Toss with the oil. Microwave for 5-6 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
- Combine the spices and stir into the nuts. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
