It enhances the flavour of the beef
Ingredients
2 large | Porterhouse steaks (Main) |
2 cups | Frozen mixed stir-fry vegetables |
2 medium | Onions |
marinade
¼ cup | Sweet sherry |
2 dessert spoons | Dark soy sauce |
2 dessert spoons | Worcestershire sauce |
½ cup | Red wine |
1 tsp | Ground ginger |
pasta
250 g | Pasta |
Directions
- Cut the steaks lengthwise and then thinly slice Create the marinade and add the meat for 15 minutes
- While the meat is marinating: Bring a pot of water to the boil for the pasta Heat the wok
- Cook the pasta as per directions on the packet Stir fry the meat and marinade for 3 minutes in the wok
- Put the cooked meat and juices aside and caramelise the onions in the wok and then add the vegetables and lightly stir fry Add the meat and juice and cook another 2 minutes
- Drain the noodles and add to the meat and vegetables Cook for 2 minutes and serve
