Ingredients
| ⅓ cup | Milk |
| 2 slices | White bread, torn |
| 700 g | Beef mince (Main) |
| 2 | Garlic cloves, crushed |
| 1 tsp | Fresh thyme, chopped |
| ¼ cup | Chives, chopped |
| 2 Tbsp | Olive oil |
| 2 | Eggs |
Spicy tomato sauce
| 1 clove | Garlic |
| ½ tsp | Chilli flakes |
| 1 can | Chopped tomatoes |
Directions
- To make the spicy tomato sauce, place the garlic, chilli and tomatoes in a frying pan over high heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until thickened. Set aside.
- Place the bread and milk in a bowl and set aside for 2 minutes or until the milk is absorbed.
- Add the mince, garlic, chives, thyme and eggs and mix well to combine. Roll 1 Tbsp of the mixture, at a time, into balls. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Cook the meatballs, in batches, for 4-6 minutes or until cooked through. Serve with the spicy tomato sauce for dipping.
