This is a low fat muesli that is high in fibre and contains slow-release ingredients that will help keep blood sugar levels on an even keel. It’s not very sweet and it’s very filling so you don’t need to eat a lot to feel satisfied. The coconut, flax seed and spices all contain health promoting nutrients that are beneficial to your digestive system and in helping with weight loss. You can even make up a big batch that will last a couple of weeks.
Ingredients
3 cups | Rolled oats, use organic and whole oats (Main) |
2 cups | Shredded coconut, or flakes |
1 cup | Sultanas, or chopped dried fruits of your choice |
1 cup | Goji berries |
½ cup | Walnuts |
½ cup | Fresh pecans |
1 cup | Linseed / flaxseed, ground |
2 Tbsp | Cinnamon |
1 Tbsp | Ground ginger |
Directions
Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
