This is a easy and yummy recipe that the whole family will love! Takes 20 minutes to make so great for those lazy nights when cooking seems like too much. A great way to get some iron and dairy into your children.
Ingredients
8 pieces | Pita breads (Main) |
500 g | Lamb mince (Main) |
250 g | Feta |
1 cup | Tomato puree |
1 tsp | Cumin |
1 tsp | Coriander |
1 bunch | Rocket |
1 Tbsp | Olive oil |
¾ cup | Natural yoghurt |
1 small | Red onion |
Directions
- Heat oil in hot pan. Brown lamb mince then finely chopped red onion with cumin and coriander and cook for 2 more minutes. Add tomato puree and simmer for 5 minutes. Place pita breads on oven tray, put mince mix on each pita. Then top with crumbled feta. Cook in oven for 10 minutes. Once cooked top with fresh rocket and natural yoghurt. Season with salt and pepper.
