These are fantastically moreish and will work with most fresh nuts. They are served regularly with festive drinks at Warren’s place.
Ingredients
300 g | Fresh pecans, or your preferred mixture of fresh nuts (Main) |
1 Tbsp | Olive oil |
¼ tsp | Chilli powder, more if you like it hot |
½ tsp | Flaky sea salt |
1 to taste | Freshly ground black pepper |
3 Tbsp | Honey |
Directions
- Heat the oven to 180C. Fry the nuts in oil over a low heat. Add chili powder, salt, a good grind of pepper, and honey.
- Cook over a low heat to combine, then roast in the oven for 15-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
- Remove, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and break into pieces once cool. Store in an airtight container if they last that long.
