These are the classic, simple biscuits I have been making and enjoying for years. They are a hit in our household because it takes less than five minutes to make the mix, it makes a lot, our kids love them in their lunch boxes, and we haven’t met another child or parent who doesn’t come back for seconds.
Ingredients
240 g | Butter |
2 Tbsp | Honey (Main) |
1 cup | Sugar |
2 cups | Flour |
1 tsp | Baking soda |
Directions
- Heat oven to 180C. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
- Place butter, honey and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and stir until butter melts and sugar has dissolved.
- Remove from heat, stir in flour and baking soda to form a dough.
- Place small teaspoonful balls of biscuit dough on to trays. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
