THIS IS SUCH AN EASY AND TASTY RECIPE THAT REMINDS ME OF MY DAD AND MY CZECHOSLOVAKIAN HERITAGE.
Ingredients
2 cups | Brown rice |
1 kg | Prime beef mince (Main) |
500 g | Pork mince, free-range |
1 large | Onion |
3 cloves | Garlic |
1 tsp | Salt |
1 tsp | Pepper |
2 large | Green cabbage, cored and boiled |
2 cans | Sauerkraut |
2 cans | Water |
Directions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 160C and cook for 2 hours
- Cut cabbages in 1/2 and cook in water until soft Mix together well in a large bowl uncooked rice/premium mince/pork mince/chopped onion and garlic/salt/pepper roll mixture into small patties and wrap with cabbage leaf tightly. pack close together in a large roasting dish with seam side down. pour canned SAUERKRAUT and water over the cabbage rolls EVERY LAYER
