These cos treats will surprise family and friends. A match made in heaven with a drizzle of honey and crunchy lettuce leaves. If serving for a cocktail party, warm the honey just before. Your guests will be back for more.
Ingredients
1 Tbsp | Butter |
6 | Figs, ripe (Main) |
50 g | Blue cheese, soft (Main) |
200 g | Cream cheese, at room temperature |
12 | Baby cos lettuce, leaves (Main) |
50 g | Runny honey, or honey comb |
Directions
- Heat the butter in a frying pan. Place the figs cut side down and cook for 3 minutes until golden. Turn and cook for a further 2 minutes. Remove and cool.
- In a small bowl, combine the blue cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
- Place the baby cos leaves onto a platter. Add a spoon of blue cheese, top with a fig and a piece of honeycomb or drizzle.
