You’d be surprised at the number of ingredients carrying the Fairtrade mark and how by using them you can help those less fortunate and help change the world for good.
Ingredients
3 | Bananas, use very ripe All Good bananas, mashed (Main) |
1 | Egg |
75 g | Butter, melted |
½ tsp | Baking soda |
½ cup | Milk, hot |
1 ½ cups | Wholemeal flour |
2 tsp | Baking powder |
¼ tsp | Cinnamon, I use the Fairtrade brand |
¼ cup | Cane sugar, I use the Fairtrade brand |
1 bag | Guava, 100g, dried pieces, I use the Fairtrade brand, chopped |
¼ cup | Almonds, I use the Fairtrade brand, toasted |
Directions
- Heat oven to 180C. Grease 12 muffin pans.
- Mix banana, egg and butter together in a bowl.
- Dissolve the baking soda in the milk and stir into the banana mix.
- Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, guavas and almonds, and mix until just combined.
- Spoon in to prepared muffin pans and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
