With a busy family, this is a favourite dish because it's so tasty, so quick and very versatile. The sauce can be served over chicken/ beef/ vegetables/ rice/noodles, whatever's in the fridge or just served with a side salad. We make with a thermomix but can be made on stovetop too.
Ingredients
1 | Onion, Chopped |
2 | Garlic cloves, Chopped |
30 g | Olive oil |
120 g | Peanut butter |
200 g | Water |
1 cube | Chicken stock |
90 g | Honey |
40 g | Wholegrain mustard |
2 tsp | Curry powder |
2 dashes | Tabasco sauce |
2 pinches | Ground cardamom |
500 g | Skinless chicken thighs (Main) |
Directions
- Sauté onion garlic in oil
- Add all other ingredients to pan and cook while stirring on low/medium heat until chicken is cooked and sauce slightly thickened ( 10 -12 mins )
- Serve with some steamed vegetables and rice or with side salad
