Ginger is great in winter, limes are cheap, and a splash of rum is probably just what the doctor ordered. This is a bit of a mixture of a mojito, a moscow mule, and a dark and stormy. Whatever you call it, it's a great combination.
Ingredients
1 handful | Ice |
45 ml | Golden rum (Main) |
1 | Lime, juice only |
2 | Mint leaves, roughly chopped, plus a little extra to garnish |
2 | Thai basil leaves, roughly chopped, plus a little extra to garnish |
1 serving | Ginger beer |
1 slice | Fresh ginger, for garnish |
Directions
Fill your glass with ice. Add the rum, lime juice, and chopped mint and basil. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with the slice of ginger. Taste and adjust as necessary.
