Ingredients
½ cup | Sunflower seeds (Main) |
½ cup | Pumpkin seeds (Main) |
¼ cup | Sesame seeds (Main) |
¼ cup | Linseed / flaxseed (Main) |
¼ cup | Chia seeds (Main) |
¼ cup | Cricket flour (Main) |
½ tsp | Salt |
1 cup | Water |
1 tsp | Flaky sea salt, to sprinkle |
Directions
- Heat oven to 170C. Place all seeds, cricket flour and salt into a bowl. Add the water and mix to combine. Leave it for 15 minutes for the flax seeds and chia seeds to soften and bind with the ingredients together.
- Tip mixture out onto a baking paper lined tray. Spread the mixture as evenly as possible with a rubber spatula, aim to get it about 4mm thick all over. Sprinkle desired amount of sea salt over the top.
- Bake for 10 minutes, and remove from the oven. Cut the mixture into crackers with a pizza cutter or knife. Then place back into the oven to bake for another 40 - 50 minutes until crisp and golden. Remove and allow to cool on a rack and store in an airtight container.
