Ingredients
100 g | Butter |
40 g | Flour |
½ cup | Icing sugar |
80 g | Ground almonds |
2 tsp | Ground coffee beans, (freshly ground) (Main) |
3 | Eggs, (whites) |
70 g | Dark chocolate |
1 to serve | Whipped cream |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180C. Grease the moulds. Melt the butter.
- Sift the flour and icing sugar into a bowl, stir in the almonds and coffee. Pour in the butter and mix.
- Whisk the egg whites until fluffy then gently mix through. Pour into the moulds and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
- Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. When melted, stir then drizzle over the cooled friands and serve with cream.
