1 | Sponge cake (Main) |
1 to drizzle | Orange juice, or our favourite alcohol |
1 | Berries, fresh or frozen |
1 | Custard |
1 to serve | Thickened cream |
Directions
- Buy or make a sponge trifle.
- Spread it with jam.
- Cut it into small cubes and sprinkle with your favourite alcohol or orange juice.
- Mix some fresh or frozen blueberries through the sponge and allow to sit for at least 2 hours.
- Divide the soaked sponge cubes and blueberries between individual glasses or bowls.
- Cover with ready-made custard.
- Top with thickened cream and garnish with chopped strawberries.
