Choc chip cookies are always a favourite and these are the ones I grew up with as a kid. Make them big and don’t be stingy on the chocolate.
Ingredients
110 g | Unsalted butter, softened |
¼ cup | Sugar |
2 Tbsp | Condensed milk |
1 cup | Plain flour |
1 tsp | Baking powder |
150 g | Chocolate buttons (Main) |
Directions
- Heat oven to 160C. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and pale.
- Add condensed milk and mix well before adding remaining ingredients and mixing until just combined.
- Place 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie on to a baking paper-lined oven tray. Wet fingers and press down on each cookie before baking for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container.
