This chicken noodle has a miso base that provides a shot of Japanese umami.
Ingredients
3 cups | Chicken stock, use up to 5 cups |
3 Tbsp | Miso paste |
5 slices | Fresh ginger, sliced thinly |
1 bunch | Ramen noodles, or egg noodles (Main) |
1 serving | Chicken, cooked and in slices |
1 serving | Spring onion |
1 serving | Asparagus, use tips only |
1 serving | Bean sprouts |
½ | Eggs, boiled |
Directions
- Heat chicken stock with miso paste, ginger, and freshly ground black pepper. Meanwhile, boil and refresh ramen (or egg) noodles according to packet instructions.
- When hot, serve the broth with the noodles, cooked chicken slices, spring onions, fresh asparagus tips, bean sprouts, and ½ a boiled egg.
