Ingredients
½ cup | Butter |
1 cup | Mayonnaise |
1 | Baguette (Main) |
3 cloves | Garlic |
1 | Onion, white, medium |
Directions
- Cut the bread into 5 and slice each piece in half lengthways.
- Finely dice the onion. Crush the garlic. Mash these into the mayo and softened butter. Spread this mix generously onto each piece of bread. If you like a bit of heat, top with some jalapeno slices.
- Cover the grill plate of the barbecue with a sheet of tinfoil and sit the bread on this. If your barbecue has a lid, put this on and cook until the bread is toasted and the mayo/butter mix is bubbly. You can also cook this in the oven. Put in at a medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
