It can be thrown together in minutes for those unexpected guests or when you don't really feel like cooking.
Ingredients
1 bag | Macaroni, elbows (Main) |
100 g | Tasty cheese, grated |
2 jars | Pasta sauce, 3 cheese pasta sauce |
1 dash | Salt |
1 dessert spoon | Cooking oil |
2 slices | Bacon strips, chopped |
2 | Tomatoes, chopped |
1 small bunch | Fresh parsley, broken up |
Directions
- Bring a medium to large saucepan of water to the boil. Add salt to taste & a splash of cooking oil to prevent macaroni elbows sticking together. Add a packet of macaroni elbows. Boil for 8 minutes. Add some cold water to stop the pasta cooking any further. Drain. Add 2 jars of 3 cheese sauce & stir through. Pour into medium sized casserole dish. Turn oven onto 180 degrees f. Sprinkle grated cheese on top to cover. Place tomato & chopped bacon around the top of the dish if desired. Bake for 20 minutes or until brown on top. Garnish with parsley and serve.
